About Me: Hello, my name is Garrett Langham and I am a independent filmmaker. I actually started studying filmmaking at an early age. I was six years old when I realized that I was analyzing movies instead of watching them. So, I had to train myself to watch the movies first then study them afterwards. I always wanted to attend a professional film school, but I never did so, due to the lack of finances. My education in film comes from analyzing over a thousand movies, reading books, and studying actors and directors. The amount of knowledge and information that I have obtained and learned is priceless. I am extremely grateful for the experience that I have gained from it. Working with a variety of networks and numerous production companies such as Universal Pictures, Coors Light, PLP studios, MTV, 20th Century Fox, Starz, LionsGate, NBC, Food Network, SWJC productions, and Imagine Television is where I received my hands on experience in filmmaking. I finished writing my first full feature screenplay in 2014 and as of right now I am just patiently waiting to get all the finances together to make my movie. As of february 2015, I started writing my second screenplay. My first screenplay is a crime drama and my second screenplay is a love story. I am the writer, director, and lead actor for my movies. I love acting, writing, and directing and every other aspect that comes along with filmmaking. The film industry is something that I enjoy and have a great passion and love for. In the near future I would like to be involved in the film industry full-time and make a living doing so. I have never had an agent or any kind of representation from anyone still to this day. I have literally got on every acting project by doing all of my own research and going to open casting calls. It's a lot of work to do and is very difficult being non-union, but I believe that anyone can do what they want as long as they have the motivation and love for what they do.
