About Me: I have extensive experience in literally every trade show related staff function and am expert at engaging people in a busy exhibit floor setting. My exhibitor assistant experience as a brand ambassador covers a variety of industries, & includes representing the Chicago Tribune at various shows and special events, including the Chicago Auto Show & Chicago Flower and Garden Show (where I was among the top booth sales people for that publication). I led the booth brand ambassador team for Better Homes and Gardens for their presence at the Chicago Health & Fitness Expo at Navy Pier, representing brands as diverse as Johnsonville, Wheat Thins, Halls and the South Beach Diet. I recently completed a 5+ year assignment as a Program Brand Ambassador for Acura's highly successful "Acura Experience" courtesy car promotional partnership with W Hotels, where I trained most of that national promotion's Chicago team, one of the most recognized and awarded. I also regularly perform staff duties (including registration, mic running, room & booth display set-up/breakdown, etc.) for the Chicago conference series for the Conference Board, Argyle Executive Forums and Crain Communications. As the Chicago Supervisor for one of the country's top convention temp staffing firms, I regularly interview, hire, assign, train & supervise teams of convention temp staffers ranging in size from several to several hundred for many of Chicago's largest and most prominent medical & technological conventions, & often represent our association clients in their convention retail store, as a registration cashier or promoting membership purchases & renewals.
