About Me: Hi there I am Jedidia or Jedy (like teddy but with a j) for short! I'll start by saying acting is more than a job to me. It is something that makes me overly happy to do, and I never got the chance to try it out professionally when I was younger because I had no support. I am now at the age where I have become more independent and able to pursue this career. I have a year worth of acting school experience, I am 2nd runner up in Toronto's Miss Ghanaian Canadian where I also won 4 awards which include most dedicated, and best talent for my acting skit which was written by myself to discuss the issue of mental health awareness and the lack of it in my community. I also competed in Miss African Canada 2018, where I was 4th runner up among 30 contestants. I fell In love with acting in 3rd grade drama class. I had the most amazing animated teacher, who drew me into this world and made want to explore more. I continued to take drama through out high school, and during my grade 11 year we entered the sears competition and got 2nd place, that experience made we want the stage more. After high school I entered college, got a job and also juggled acting school. I got the experience to work on a music video project, but I want to grow more as a person and actress with a variety of roles.and if I get the chance I will work my hardest to make it in this big world of acting.
